Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) invites online application for the recruitment of Post Graduate Teacher (PGTs) and Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs).

Number of Post - 973

Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs) – 514 Posts
Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs) – 423 posts

Pay Scale – Rs. 9300-34800 (Grade Pay Rs.4800)

Age Limit – 40 years for PGT and 35 years for TGT

Qualification –

PGT – Candidates should be post graduate in concerned subject with at least 50% marks & B.Ed. or its equivalent from recognized university.

TGT – Four years integrated degree course of Regional College of Education ofNCERT with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject as
aggregate.

OR
A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from a recognized University with 50% marks or above in aggregate as well as in the concerned subject Should have B.Ed Degree or equivalent from recognized university
Should passed Central TET (CTET) Conducted by CBSE

Fees – Application Fee of Rs.500/- + Rs.60/- Bank’s service charges (No fee is required for candidates of SC / ST / PH categories and Women candidates)

Last Date – 03.03.2014

Date of Written Test   - 27.04.2014
